In Isaiah 44:20, we read, "He feeds on ashes; a deluded heart has led him astray, and he cannot deliver himself or say, 'Is there not a lie in my right hand?'"
All of us, until we admit that we are sinners in need of a Savior and accept Jesus as the Savior we need, are hopelessly lost. Our hearts are deluded, and we feed on ashes. We are incapable of delivering ourselves.
That is why our prayers for the Druze people are so important. Prayers that their hearts will no longer be deluded. Prayers that they will realize their inability to deliver themselves. Prayers that they will understand that what they have always believed is a lie.
